The only reason why President Biden is able to fire the SSA Commissioner at will is because of conservative #SCOTUS majorities in Seila Law last June & Collins last month. If your theory of executive power depends upon which party holds the White House, it isn’t much of a theory.

And now the fired Commissioner says he won’t go. He says he will log into work as usual on Monday, from his home.  I think he'll find his passwords no longer work.  And no competent lawyer will touch his grievance with a club.  The incompetent ones that do will simply be taking his money.

Now, about eliminating the filibuster...
