I haven’t read the article and I don’t have to:

1) TV cameras are not allowed in the courtroom where arguments were heard; 

2) or in the building; 

3) or on the grounds.

4) So he had to go to the Waldorf Astoria to hold a press conference.

5)  By which time most news coverage had discussed the hearing and moved on.

6) Besides, was Trump really expected to make news?

7) No, because C-SPAN covered him.

And that didn’t take three NYT reporters.
