Repeating For Emphasis

Phang: You think Ghislaine Maxwell is going to appear for a deposition before House Oversight and implicate herself in any way?

I think it’s great. Kudos to you, Burchett, and others for voting on this. But let’s be real: she’s not going to implicate herself. She’s appealing her convictions and sentence. You think she’s about to roll into Congress and say, “I totally did all of this—and then some—and here are all the people who did it with me”?
Or blithely chat with the DOJ, for that matter. She gets a deal, or she doesn’t speak. And that deal has to address her appeal, as in, make it irrelevant. Else, why does she bother?  No one is thinking of the victims anymore. Certainly not Trump.

And if she makes a deal, what credibility does she have? What good does she do?

These people really aren’t very bright. Or very interested in other people.
Siri--what is the “Streisand effect”? 🤔
Krishnamoorthi: 60% of Americans now disapprove of his handling of the economy. And roughly 60% disapprove of his handling of immigration.

And now a majority of Republicans—even—have come to believe in a legal pathway for people who might be here undocumented, because they’ve seen ICE act out of control.

My theory is that the Jeffrey Epstein stuff contributes to people’s distrust of the administration—such that they’re starting to open their eyes a little bit to the other problems that beset them.

And now, as the pink slips are starting to go out for layoffs, as small businesses are suffering, as people learn about the large lousy law—which he calls the “big beautiful bill”—I think they’re just getting frustrated and upset.

And I think that includes Republicans as well.
...to God’s ear.
