Per pool, Trump is tweeting this from his private golf club https://t.co/emlMoGMEJW— Robert Maguire (@RobertMaguire_) August 23, 2020
Seems like a good place to start.
Trump, after wrapping up another weekend at his Virginia golf club, apparently preparing to highlight an unproven coronavirus treatment in a reality-show styled kickoff of his RNC convention week. https://t.co/hpCDMnYeYr— Eric Lipton (@EricLiptonNYT) August 23, 2020
Yeah, and how did that go?
Trump took a grand total of three questions -- two of them from Fox News and OAN -- before abruptly ending the press conference pic.twitter.com/bT8FdIHPLw— Aaron Rupar (@atrupar) August 23, 2020
Meanwhile, Jared somehow got out:
Jared doesn't like things like evidence or science.— Raw Story (@RawStory) August 23, 2020
Jared Kushner admonished by CNN host for blowing off multiple voter fraud studies with an anecdotehttps://t.co/W3W7wgkyQg
“I’m going to read them to you, Jared,” the host began. ” He [Trump] talked extensively about the dangers of mail-in voting and the fraud that comes from it. the first slide I’m happy to send you by email is the list of the literally dozens of studies that have been done on voter fraud, all of which have concluded there is none.”We would also have accepted the response that neither of these examples involve people fraudulently using the ballots of dead people to vote, so THERE WAS NO VOTER FRAUD INVOLVED IN THESE EXAMPLES! (I have received several pieces of mail since my mother died, which has been less than a year ago. Word does not travel swiftly to all corners, despite what you might think. Much of it involves some responsibility on the part of the family/executors, etc. Responsibility is a concept Jared hates like a vampire hates sunlight.)
Kushner responded by talking about his life as a “civilian” before he joined the White House before relating a claim he heard from a friend in New Jersey who once got two ballots in the mail.
....
“Then you could talk to my other friend in New Jersey whose son died seven years ago and he got a ballot,” Kushner replied. “I don’t have that many friends in New Jersey and I have two raising this with me. ”
Meanwhile, speaking of fraudulent information:
He doesn’t want people to vote. It’s that simple. https://t.co/spJjcUgEJc— Aaron Rupar (@atrupar) August 23, 2020
And Trump's sister the former federal judge was still a topic of conversation:
Pelosi on Trump's sister saying he's a selfish, cruel liar with no principles: "The president is calling everything a hoax ... which is just a projection of what he is: a hoax. This is just further evidence of his inauthenticity and his lack of integrity." pic.twitter.com/DyNyp3ICOt— Aaron Rupar (@atrupar) August 23, 2020
To remind you a little bit of what she said:
“He has no principles. None. None ... His goddamned tweet and lying, oh my God. I’m talking too freely, but you know. The change of stories. The lack of preparation. The lying. Holy shit.” — Donald Trump’s sister & former federal judge Maryanne Trump Barry https://t.co/I7Tm6mxEeh— Aaron Rupar (@atrupar) August 23, 2020
The "official" response to this is that she didn't come to Robert's funeral. In the White House. And today, in other news prefacing the RNC "virtual convention" (is "virtual" going to become the conventional modifier for all things electronic?) Peter Navarro was called on by Trump to play "Mini-Me," which he did with alacrity:

And here, at last, is the tweet Twitter pulled from Trump's feed:
Twitter has flagged Trump's insane tweet spreading misinformation about mail voting for "violating the Twitter Rules about civic and election integrity." pic.twitter.com/UGCFX0CqAh— Aaron Rupar (@atrupar) August 23, 2020
Twitter, it will soon be clear, has higher standards than all the major networks and news channels; combined. Because you know Trump is gonna repeat that shit all four nights of next week, if he gets any chance to.

Networks need to cut away from Trump’s convention every time he lies: CNN conservativehttps://t.co/6X3im74VMJ
Yes, but then they'd just have to cut the feed entirely and come up with some other programming to sell. And why do that, and prove Twitter right?
From me: Networks need to be prepared to handle the RNC as a major political and medical disinformation event. Trump’s messaging on the rigged election and miracle coronavirus cures are dangerous to our health and democracy. https://t.co/k0fzb1VriJ— Amanda Carpenter (@amandacarpenter) August 23, 2020
Meanwhile, Jared figures lies work as well as the truth, and are easier to come up with:
Speaking of the "convention," I am reminded that Bush had lawyers who said torture was just fine, too:FAREED ZAKARIA: The US has a Covid death rate 15 times higher than the EU. Bill Gates says our testing system is worthless— Aaron Rupar (@atrupar) August 23, 2020
JARED KUSHNER: I disagree. We've done more tests--
FZ: But they're worthless because of delays
JK: The average is down to 2 to 3 days
FZ: That's not true pic.twitter.com/T5piIuTY9q
Nice get by @mawilner https://t.co/0c4BpmOPYy— Nahal Toosi (@nahaltoosi) August 23, 2020
But the nature of the speech, scheduled for Tuesday during a visit to Israel is raising concerns in both Washington and Jerusalem, with two Israeli officials telling McClatchy that the event could aggravate a growing political divide over Israel in the United States.
I'm sure Jared has some soothing words and a smarmy smile to tell us all to just get over it.
The RNC announces there will be no GOP platform for the convention — just support for Trump’s second-term agenda, whatever that is https://t.co/P5RkqdsfDV— Blake News (@blakehounshell) August 24, 2020
You get four nights of Donald Trump TeeVee appearances; what more could you ask for?
4 Months, 27 Days, 19 Hours, 27 Minutes, and 44 Seconds— When Is Trump Gone? (@DaysLeft4Trump) August 23, 2020
Starting to wonder if we can make it that long.
I believe I'm going to have to apply for a ballot for this year, I did for the primary and I believe I'm going to have to for the general election. Jared is a scumbag liar at the intersection of two families of scumbag liars. I pray that I live to see him and his wife among so many others perp-walked and then walked in orange on their way to prison.
