Garbage In, Garbage Out

According to news reports yesterday, this was the guy who could speak truth to Bush inside his "bubble":

"Considering the dire circumstances that we have in New Orleans -- virtually a city that has been destroyed -- that things are going relatively well," Brown said.

Now Bush says the response is not "adequate." Listen to this report. "Adequate" seems a curiously inappropriate word for the situation.

Given the public statements of the Head of FEMA, and the Secretary of Homeland Security, (linked below), it is reasonable to conclude that what the President wants is reports of more adequacy in the response.

Because that's what they're giving us.
