I didn't know drive-in movies were still a thing

...even in rural America.  But the idea of Trump "selling out" crowds in a drive in (with a capacity of what, 100 cars?  200?  So 800 people at best? 1000? ) is hilarious.

Don't know of any major venue in Texas that's going to be open to him any time soon.  Abbott is only opening private spaces to 25% capacity (and the number of cases continues to climb*), and no major city in Texas wants crowds standing for hours to get in, especially at 25% (or even 50%, later on) capacity.  Maybe he could go to the beaches, those are open (and state property).

Funny he has to come to Texas at all, but latest polling only has it "leaning" GOP.  Heh.

(*Abbott, in his role as Trump's Mini-Me, continues to say the number of cases is climbing because the amount of testing is increasing.  Yes, we are finding out how many Texans are infected because of testing; but they were infected regardless.  What Abbott is saying is the problem is daily worse than we realized, but let's get people back together again anyway!  What could go wrong?)
