“The current 89-point difference between Republicans' and Democrats' ratings of Trump is the largest partisan gap Gallup has ever measured for a presidential approval rating in a single survey. “ https://t.co/R0wR2rUjfF— amy walter (@amyewalter) July 6, 2020
There are not enough Republicans in this country to re-elect him. Keep your eye on that independent number. (down to 33% approval) https://t.co/bFqCgbTkym— Claire McCaskill (@clairecmc) July 6, 2020
And, as I guess I'll have to say until the end of time, that 38% is not MAGA-heads alone, but a lot of people saying "Yeah, I guess."
It was always wrong, because the 40 or so percent of people who say they “approve” of @realDonaldTrump has always included people who “somewhat” approve (15-20%), in addition to those who “strongly approve” (20-25%). At least the “somewhat” folks can be picked off. https://t.co/zbSXc9whCA— George Conway (@gtconway3d) June 29, 2020
And there are even more people saying, "Oh, HELL NO!"
"Trump's approval rating sits at just 40% overall, while a record 58% disapprove. What's more, a whopping 49% of voters "strongly disapprove" of the job Trump is doing. That kind of intensity of disapproval is a record never before seen for this president or any past one." https://t.co/4VkVxmj6Xt— JM Rieger (@RiegerReport) June 27, 2020
The fact that Trump is in office really doesn't mean anything anymore; not electorally speaking. Whatever approval rating he has will be close to "zero" on Election Day, the only poll that matters.
