Watched the latest Jason Bourne movie last night, fifth in the series and the strongest at sketching the backstory of the title character. I lived in Manila when the fourth in the series was filmed in Manila featuring Jeremy Renner instead of Matt Damon. The fifth, released in 2016, brought Damon back to the franchise and opens the door perhaps to a sixth sequel with both Renner and Damon. The series always makes me reflect on Randolph Bourne, who, like Trump's grandfather, was one of those countless souls harvested by the Spanish Flu of 1918.
