Got To Admit It’s Getting Better

Axios is already behind the curve.

The Lovely Wife went on-line last week and signed up with every available outlet for vaccines for both of us.  I was accepted by one within a day, probably because of my age (I’m a year older, and over the “threshold,” at least down here).  She got an appointment with the county, and as a bonus is getting the J&J vaccine (one dose is easier to schedule than two).  She’s still getting e-mails from other agencies asking her to make an appointment.

I’d heard horror stories of people spending days trying to even get on a list.  My brother in law and his wife got vaccinated last month, after he spent days trying to get appointments anywhere.  He’s retired, he has the time.  Suddenly, it’s a lot better.

YMMV, of course.  But I wouldn’t say it’s universally difficult anymore. On the broadest scale, it’s pretty clear what has improved distribution, especially since it’s all changed since January 20th.
