When Shrub won re-election and decided he had a mandate to cut Social Security.  That lasted about a Scaramucci. Even Shrub recognized his folly.

This will, of course, just be useless flailing in the House. It would never survive the Senate. And be the worst excuse possible for a government shutdown.

I’m actually going to enjoy the next two years as the “new” GOP finds out being in charge just means being responsible.
