The Rule Of Law Quandary

"Somebody save me from this Jack Smith guy!” That man is scared shitless. Literally scared out of his mind. Inventing his own reality in real time. I don’t know if these attacks are enough to revoke Trump’s bail… ...and so far I don’t think so. But Jack Smith put that post in the record to start building a case. And it’s going to be entertaining to watch him assemble it. No court is going to force a prosecutor to testify before Congress about an ongoing investigation. And here we hit the rule of law quandary:

Trump wants Congress to help him; but Congress can’t interfere with the administration of justice. Not that directly. Which is why we have to be careful who we put into power. Re-elect Trump, and who will stop him? Aside from the courts, almost no one can. The rule of law rests with the courts, and with the prosecution. And the prosecution is very, very powerful. Trump is right about that.
