Jim Jordan Denounced All This

So why didn't it go away?:
So far, I've had four death threats," [Rep. Ken] Buck said during an appearance on NBC News. "I've been evicted from my office in Colorado."
Let's ask Nancy Mace, who is going full “Mean Girl” on fellow Republican Greg Murphy for blaming her (she voted to oust McCarthy) for “starting this mess.” That was in a reply to Mace’s tweet that the House should remain in town until a Speaker is elected. Mace responded that Murphy was a “pussy” (as in “cat,” the emoji she used, but she didn’t mean Murphy was a feline).

Murphy, to prove her right, blocked her. In response Mace complained, again on Twitter, that the problem with the House is the GOP men lack “balls.”

We know all this because Mace made sure we knew Murphy blocked her, and we knew, in two separate tweets, how she’s taking it.

No word on whether this is going to make her wear a scarlet “A” again. Or if she’s still sitting at the kewl kids’ table at lunch.

Meanwhile, reports are Jordan dropped his third bid after 22 GOP House members told him to his face they’d never vote for him before hell froze over. But JMM’s observation:
Someone said to 'for someone who hates to lose Jordan insists on losing over and over again.' But to him, if he doesn't concede he hasn't lost. (Like Trump.) The votes are just battles not the war. He got flipped but not pinned.
is coming true:
An 8am Jim Jordan judiciary presser? What’s he gonna do, announce that he’s going to impeach everyone who doesn’t vote for him?
Must credit AOC! And then it gets better!
One plan being discussed -- Jordan starting with his third floor vote at 10 a.m. tomorrow, and then just going straight through the weekend, back to back votes, grind it out, no coming off the floor at all.
That’ll teach ‘em to thwart the will of the man from Ohio! It’s what Trump would do! Never admit defeat!  Even as more and more members vote against Jordan, and their staff quit en masse!

The beatings WILL continue until morale improves! Gym Jordan has spoken! (Clearly his strategy is to drive the attending members down to 12, who will then vote for him by acclamation. Is this in line with the rules? Who cares?! Haven’t we left those far behind by now?)

I’d been assured this morning the “moderates” were going to work with the Democrats to give McHenry enough temporary Speaker powers to raise the debt ceiling (or whatever has to be done again) and throw money at Israel and Ukraine, before collapsing into primordial ooze again. But the “moderates” in the GOP don’t exist, and proved it by pitching SUCH a fit!

So now they have themselves to blame for the coming weekend. And nobody seems to have yet noticed that Trump’s influence and strong-arm tactics have come to nothing in his own party. Turns out people who don’t know how to do anything in politics don’t get anything done in politics. Maybe they should all be given copies of Aristotle and Machiavelli and told there will be a quiz on Monday.

Except Jordan would eat the pages, and Gaetz would make paper airplanes out of them. I’m still not convinced Trump can read.
