Besides, I’m guessing Sen. Cruz agrees with you.

I’m sure we can find lots of reasons to restrict speech on campuses. I know a lot of public figures who want to restrict the very ideas I was taught on college campuses.* There’s a budding university in Austin that seems to want to make a curriculum of it. Maybe we should make all schools be like that one!☝️

* Ideas from colleges are clearly dangerous.The German biblical scholarship I learned in seminary led directly to American fundamentalism in the early 20th century, which in turn led to the Islamic fundamentalism of Al Qaeda, Isis, and Hamas (to name just three).

And the theory of evolution I was taught in school led directly to American eugenics laws in the early 20th century, which were adopted by Nazi Germany and led directly to the Holocaust. So clearly we must restrict speech on college campuses.

**I have to add a note on that “Community Note” which was attached after I wrote this post. This is from the Newsweek article:

“Authenticity of the food and naming of the recipes have been a concern brought to us by students in the past," the spokesperson said. "There were times that they felt our food did not 'authentically' represent the country or ethnicity referenced in the name. 

"To that end, our team made the decision to remove names of countries and ethnicities from recipes...In this case, Israeli Couscous is indeed an actual ingredient and is explicitly listed on the ingredient list. Considering it is the main ingredient, it is appropriate to remain in the title, and we will correct this oversight."

I have an update. There are also 14 dining halls at Yale and this was done at one dining hall for one meal. The word Israeli still appears in the ingredients list.
