The original of this meme is the Goliad flag. The story behind it is that the Mexican government gave Goliad, then in Mexico, a small cannon for protection. When the Texicans declared their independence, Mexico quite reasonably asked for the cannon back. The flag was their response.
But the Mexican army was large, the number of colonists at Goliad small. They were defiant, but not stupid. They hid the cannon. To this day no one has ever found it.
So I hope they find that guy’s milk carton.
