...have any idea how the Fed operates?Navarro: What I'm suggesting is at the July 29 meeting of the fed governors, if Powell continues down this path of refusing to lower rates when the data says he should, that the rest of the board of governors should vote to do what should be done which is to lower rates. pic.twitter.com/AxSOFesqWU

Is that how they explain letting a bunch of ignorant 20-somethings fire people without any reason except “too many people”? In other words, the same approach that ruined Twitter (technology; the Nazis did the rest).Noem: "Quite frankly, the National Weather Service under President Trump has been working to put in new technology and a new system because it has been neglected for years. It's an ancient system that needed to be upgraded, and so President Trump recognized that right away and… pic.twitter.com/0eapRMTtCA

She might have a little more moral authority if she wasn’t sitting in a studio 1700 miles away.Kellyanne: The left is very culpable on this one. They have this playbook now. Number one, blame Trump. Number two, lie.. why aren’t they out there helping with rescue and recovery? pic.twitter.com/zLesKsSGq0

Is he talking to himself?Peter Navarro laying the groundwork to blame Fed Chair Powell for a slumping economy: “He doesn’t understand Trumpnomics. He doesn’t understand the supply side aspects of tax cuts and deregulation. And he doesn’t have clue about tariffs.” pic.twitter.com/qxqB7FO0dc

Well, he’s certainly not making any sense.NBC: “Why were there not 90 deals in 90 days?”

Peter Navarro: “Because the rest of the world has it so good they’re dragging their heels. But the president will not allow that, and that’s why the letters went out.” pic.twitter.com/TeIJDSh4UY
A reminder that Trump is the best economics President in history. Bessent said so.The U.S. is imposing a 25% tariff on Korea because of trade deficits that it claims are "engendered by Korea's Tariff and Non Tariff, Policies and Trade Barriers." But Korea has a free trade agreement with the U.S. It charges zero tariffs on nearly everything. pic.twitter.com/FaOFyeHWbf

And everyone agrees.Owens: "Here's a little update for Democrats. We have a genius of a president. Somebody who understands how to run a business. He's a billionaire because of it. Anyone ask Navarro when the container ships start coming into port? I'm not too far from a fairly major Twin Cities/Chicago rail line that ordinarily has quite a few container trains, but haven't seen many lately (strictly anecdotal, of course, but still)
ReplyDeleteDear Donald, Don't mess with J. R. Ewing. He invented billionaires. Best Regards, Texas.
ReplyDeleteLast I heard, container ships had stopped coming. I got an email from Williams Sonoma in June about Hallowe’en trinkets. I suspect they’re getting out ahead with what they had left from last year. (The Lovely Wife spoke to a gift shop manager months ago who said they’ll have whatever is left over for the fall and winter holidays.) This is going to show up soon, and Trump can’t blame Biden.
