There is a major hospital complex less than a mile from my house. I’ve had surgeries there. I have visited family members there. There are three buildings attached to it, filled with doctors’ offices, and two more buildings attached by parking lots and skyways, also medical facilities. Doctors tend to aggregate, and patients like it that way.Nick Shirley is confused why healthcare providers would be in the same building. He says they should go to different places to get away from the competition.

The guy has never heard of a medical plaza.

Grinding slowly but exceeding fine. I only add this because I’ve tried repeatedly to embed the tweet, and been told repeatedly that the embed for this tweet (and only this tweet) “can’t be found.”NBC: “A federal judge Tuesday ordered Trump ally Lindsey Halligan to explain why she continues to call herself the U.S. attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia even though another judge determined she was unlawfully appointed to the position…” ๐ค https://t.co/9Xg2UtCPxK pic.twitter.com/ZOCzajTpdn

According to the San Antonio Water System in 2023 and 2024 data centers in the metropolitan area used at least 463 million gallons of water—even as local residents were often limited to watering their lawns once a week.
I didn’t find this soon enough to include it in the previous post where it clearly belongs. But what’s the topic here, anyway?Look!! Smarter than @KatieMiller! https://t.co/zN5aoP2KNd

Modern technology and the ability of lies and porn to be spread either for direct profit or to sway a voting population will make the libertarian notions of "free speech" and "free press" which may have made some marginal sense in the 18th century fatal to not only any form of democracy but the possibility of a republican instead of a government fatal to good governance. We will either face that reality or we will abandon first egalitarian democracy then its more gangster trending doppelganger, liberal democracy.
