I don’t even know what this legislation is, but it has no chance of becoming law before 2027 (so it’s what the kids call “performative”). And if it did become law and was used against Trump, you’d still have the Rube Goldberg mechanism of the 25th to contend with.

Does this law purport to amend the 25th, by the way?

Whatever it does, if it’s used against Trump, he can sue and get it before the Supremes. That will keep the question of  “Who IS the President?” alive and well for months. And to what end?

If you strike at a king, you’d better kill him. Performances close out of town; or only do matinee business. If you can’t use the impeachment power of Art. II and remove Trump, fuck it. Use the Art. I powers of Congress to strangle him with his own entrails; metaphorically speaking.

He’s already a lame duck. Make it so.
