Petulant Toddler With A Shotgun

There are more serious problems with this administration; but this does seem to be a violation of the court order. On some as yet unknown technical point.

Although I fail to understand what part of “procedural due process” they continue to misunderstand.  (For the non-lawyers, essentially the court ruled there is a procedure that must be followed, and that obviates any imperious decision by the President made without notice or chance to appeal.) Again, this is more important for its apparent contempt of the court order than for how it inconveniences CNN.

The effect is to cut off the pool coverage (CNN was providing that feed). Maybe Trump decided this:
Video of rich people coming to a state dinner with the Chinese President was not a good idea, after all. Not while voters can’t afford groceries.

Not a good reason to ignore a court order, though.

    One thing we're getting this time around, because he made sure to include no Daddy figures who might say No (but eventually bail him out anyway), is a much better sense of how this guy failed or screwed up every "real" thing he ever tried to do:

    In a situation where a "normal" person would try to dig in and try to fix a mess, he jumps off to play with something else. He has the whole world on the edge of a economic precipice, a situation entirely of his own making, and he's re-naming lakes and scams while throwing black-tie red-carpet bashes for oligarchs and despots.

    Meanwhile, the "negotiators" he sent to "make a deal" do nothing more than grift and the manchild responsible for day-to-day operation of the war, after making it clear he had little sense of logistics and strategy, has gone back to something a little more his speed: ordering executions of guys in fishing boats who happen to be in the wrong place at the wrong time.
