Regarding these "legal arguments:"  anybody remember Dershowitz pontificating from the well of the Senate about a year ago?  Anybody remember what he said?  Anybody think it made a groat's worth of difference?

Yeah, me neither.  The 45 don't care what the legal argument for constitutionality is; they just care that it sounds "smart" on TeeVee.  Nobody in Kentucky is gonna vote against Rand Paul because Laurence Tribe said the Constitution said it was okay to punish an ex-president, and Paul didn't listen.
