“There’s a couple hundred people every night outside of my house screaming curse words at my children.”

"In Dallas, we have zero ICU beds left for children," he said. "That means if your child's in a car wreck, you child has a... heart defect that means he needs an ICU bed or, more likely, if they have COVID and need an ICU bed, we don't have one! Your child will wait for another child to die! Your child will just not get on the ventilator!"“We have 0 ICU beds left for children ... Your child will wait for another child to die.”

(And a reminder for our audience: "County Judge" is the highest executive office in a Texas county. The ruling body of the county is the "Commissioner's Court." It is not a court-at-law, nor is the County Judge a court-at-law judge. Apologies for the confusion, but New York State calls their trial courts "Supreme Courts," so we're not the only ones.)
(And this is who Greg Abbott is suing, because he is King Governor, and his word is law. He calls it "protect[ing] the rights and freedoms of all Texans." Ken Paxton calls them "activist characters." Suffer the little children so that Abbott and Paxton might please the GOP base and win the primaries in 2022.)
