So I guess their defense is a groundless conspiracy theory?The main problem for the defense is that they are asking the jury to believe that Cohen paid $130k to Stormy on his own with Trump knowing nothing about it, then Weisselberg reimbursed Cohen using Trump’s money without telling Trump.
