Trump: First call to Gavin Newsom was not picked up. Second call we spoke for 16 minutes and I told him to get his ass in gear and stop the riots. This shows what a liar he is. Said I never called.

This happens to me, and I’m 9 years younger than Trump. I’m also retired, which means every day is Saturday. I’m seriously considering getting one of those big clocks that says “TODAY IS SATURDAY JUNE 14, 2025. IT’S 7:30 AM.” Because with no real schedule, what does it matter to me?

I’m also not the POTUS, which I regard as an important distinction. Nor do I have a staff to keep me on my calendar.

It’s notable, too, that Trump has yet to respond to Newsom calling Trump a “stone cold liar” in that interview about the phone call. This is pretty much his response:  Trump saying Newsom says Trump never called, giving Trump an excuse to call Newsom a liar.

Pretty weenie. Especially since the video doesn’t lie.  Trump does. 

Notable because bullies are notorious cowards. 🌮
