Can we get the next POTUS to take away Trump’s citizenship? And that of his kids while we’re at it?
I don’t think the Supremes would let Trump do this. But they would stay any order denying it.
Again: if Biden had done this, Jake Tapper would have had an aneurysm on air, because we all knew Biden would know better. So we’d all know something was seriously wrong.
But it’s Trump, so “serious people,” if they notice at all, will ask: “Does he really mean this?” And say: “Of course the President can’t do this.” And: “How will the Democrats respond?” And overall, treat this as perfectly normal.
I guess because the alternative is run in circles, scream and shout?
