The part of this that is really funny is that Iran will probably end up putting a tax on every barrel of oil that goes through the Strait now. One of the things I read said that even if that was one dollar a barrel that would be two million dollars every time a super-tanker goes through. The American and Israeli government, the Saudi royal family, etc. are idiots. Criminal idiots. I don't see the blanket impunity of the Israeli government in the US surviving this. Or, probably, anywhere else. Two disastrous wars and many minor ones they've involved us in, at this point. And now it's undeniable that the majority of the Israeli public support its worst features. Well over 95% in consistent polling and the fact that the fascists have been running the country for the past half a century, plus or minus a few years.
