I wish they'd send some of that rain up here. We're still about a foot under what would end this long drought we've been in. I'll probably be up all night on the goddamned 4th worrying about idiots setting the woods on fire with fireworks. Goddamned Republicans legalized them here and in the benighted state of New Hampshire - where most of the ones around here are bought. Last year Trump's tariffs put something of a damper on it because the prices skyrocketed.
ReplyDeleteI saw more of the state displays - pathetic doesn't begin to describe how embarrassing it is. I wish Maine had just put up that card table with a few tri-fold handouts on it. It would have been more dignified.
