SCOOP: Gregory Cheadle, the man President Trump once called “my African American,” is leaving the Republican party & running for Congress as an independent.— Yamiche Alcindor (@Yamiche) September 12, 2019
He says Trump has a “white superiority complex" and the party is pursing a "pro-white" agenda. https://t.co/TItxY5zBMu
I remain on the side of "better late than never" in these matters, and note in passing Cheadle describes Trump as a man with a "white superiority complex", but declines to call him a racist (isn't a white supremacist a racist, though? Language is weird, and Humpty Dumpty was right: "When I use a word, it means what I choose it to mean, neither more nor less.").
So it goes. Still, it's worth nothing Cheadle like the GOP for it's economic policies. It was a long time before that became less important to him.
"It's money that matters!/In the U.S.A.!"
Same as it ever was.
