Day 11 of the media accepting the trump’s absurd lie he took a sudden road trip to a hospital for a check up because he’ll be too busy next year.— Philippe Reines (@PhilippeReines) November 27, 2019
He has beaten the media.
They’ve all but raised the white flag. https://t.co/1YwR5WHE4Q
Trump went to Walter Reed because he doesn't trust any of the White House staff. There was a medical problem, no doubt. But how many D.C. reporters have contacts at Walter Reed? In fact, how small is the circle at Walter Reed of those who would know why Trump was there? Probably small enough a leak would finger the source almost immediately.
We are, as a nation, entitled to that information. CEO's, even Superintendents of school districts, have to get a physical once a year and prove to the directors (a public body in the latter case) that they are in good health. The nation requires no less of the President.
Why these things weren't made laws or just rules to get a parties nomination, full health information, ten years of tax returns, an absolute requirement of them and their immediate family INCLUDING BRATS to put their family company in a blind trust, etc.
ReplyDeleteBecause we are a nation that depends too much on the honor of presidents when the history of the office is full of men who should never have been there.
