This is an official Bernie surrogate right now calling today’s results a coup https://t.co/Ap0h7VCq1M— Sam Stein (@samstein) March 4, 2020
Or never? Does never work for you? Meanwhile, down in Texas:
As the clock strikes midnight, Biden has almost caught Sanders in Texas. The two are in a dead heat in Maine. And Sanders is leading in California.— Jamie Dupree (@jamiedupree) March 4, 2020
I'm not so sure Biden wouldn't have walked away with it had there not been 2 weeks of early voting before today. Maybe that ranked voting idea would work in the Democratic primary here....
The Biden lead in Texas just keeps ticking up with every vote dump. Now he's hitting 31%. Sanders has 27% and Bloomberg is now 18%.— Abby Livingston (@TexasTribAbby) March 4, 2020
At this point Sanders and Biden get the same number of delegates, so winning the popular vote is just bragging rights (probably the same thing in California); but Texans are not known for not-bragging.
