This won’t:

"If the judges allow us --- somebody's gotta allow this thing to be prosecuted," Trump said at his campaign event. "We wanna show how we won the election, not for the purposes of... what we want to do, is we want to win this one that's coming up because it's a lot simpler. Think to the future. But you have to learn from history. If you don't learn from history, you're a fool."

Fortunately, courts have learned from history. They are not peopled by fools. They will not allow this non-defense to the criminal charges to be presented to juries.

"So I hope that's going to happen because we have so much evidence. We know it and they know it. The only thing they don't want to talk about is the election because they're guilty as hell," he claimed. "They cheated."

Hope, as the military says, is not a plan. I do think this, however, is more than hopeful:

Trump is practically writing their motions now. And, especially after Chutkan’s rejection of Trump’s “Presidential immunity” defense, there’s no hope of this defense being allowed at trial.

Aside from that, he’s fruity as a nut cake:

At least we can quit worrying about Trump’s state of mind. He’s as mad as the proverbial hatter. A year from now he’ll be broke, a loser (again), and a convicted felon. And unlike a broken clock, not even right twice a day.
