Just to point out the obvious, this is not what Paul was talking about. Nor is it, in any Christian sense, prayer.OK Schools Chief says he will allow prayers to be read over loudspeakers in schools, and when the Supreme Court ruled it was unconstitutional they “weaponized the govt against christianity. When they pulled prayer in schools in 1962, what we’ve seen is moral decay.” pic.twitter.com/DNy8yDnUlF

This is magical thinking, but not even in the sense Joan Didion meant. This is waving a talisman about to ward off evil spirits. It’s the kind of superstitious behavior white Europeans accused “lesser” cultures of doing, back in the day. It’s a childish assault on the authority of the Supreme Court while recognizing that authority.
OK schools won’t even make kids sit silently while a prayer is read at them; it will blare the prayers as they…what? Walk the halls? Eat lunch? Try to learn in the classroom?
Pwned, libs!
