The Eyes Of Texas ๐Ÿ‘€

This is the reason why the Texas Supreme Court should not do what Ken Paxton wants them to do:

The idea that Ms. Cox wants desperately to be a parent and this law might actually cause her to lose that ability is shocking and would be a genuine miscarriage of justice.”
This is a question of healthcare, not infanticide.

I understand why the Court issued a stay: due process, in a phrase. The problem right now is not the Court, it’s the law, which will not allow this woman access to the healthcare she needs for reasons no one can explain.

Ken Paxton’s reason is that the law requires this outcome, damn the consequences. The law is the law and it must be followed.

Which is murder, plain and simple. But murder of the right person, apparently. The living one, not the one who’ll never be born alive, or will be dead within minutes after. And if the mother doesn’t die, she’ll never have children again, may suffer chronic injuries that could have been avoided. That’s what the law requires, and Ken Paxton deems that good.

Hopefully the Texas Supreme Court will come down on the side of humanity. And quickly.
