“Bullshitzkrieg” Wags The Dog

Apparently:
The US and Iran currently taking turns doing "Wag the Dog" style bombing runs to create content for FOX News.
So:
So we bombed several abandoned bases to make Trump feel tough, and they responded by giving us advance notice so we could abandon a couple of our bases before bombing them so they can feel tough?
Looks that way.

George Conway:
This war looks like it should end up being called the “Bullshitzkrieg,” because at this point, it pretty much seems to have been performative on all sides, especially on Trump’s. We should be grateful for that, but … WTAF.
Explains it all:
Of course, by lunchtime tomorrow we could find ourselves to be (and to have always been) at war with Eurasia or Eastasia (or maybe even Oceania!), and I’ll have to take this back. But I’m going with it for now.
To you: Why shouldn’t we believe them?
Doesn’t matter. Ceasefire, ya know.

Also, too, as well:
Trump has declared victory, because he really didn’t want to go to war. I think he also thinks he’s off the hook for blowing up the first agreement, and being unable to negotiate the second before Bibi attacked and screwed that pooch. And hey, it only cost $56 million plus fuel costs and Tomahawk missiles to reset the situation. While the ass kissers are already lining up: There may be a hitch:
"On the assumption that everything works as it should, which it will, I would like to congratulate both Countries, Israel and Iran, on having the Stamina, Courage, and Intelligence to end, what should be called, 'THE 12 DAY WAR'," Trump wrote on his Truth Social site.

There was no immediate comment yet from Israel. While an Iranian official earlier confirmed that Tehran had agreed to a ceasefire, the country's foreign minister said there would be no cessation of hostilitiers unless Israel stopped its attacks.

Abbas Araqchi said early on Tuesday that if Israel stopped its "illegal aggression" against the Iranian people no later than 4 a.m. Tehran time (0030 GMT) on Tuesday, Iran had no intention of continuing its response afterwards.
If Israel has agreed to the ceasefire, why won’t they say so?  If they didn’t, why won’t they say so? If they did, why won’t Iran say so? And who the hell trusts Trump to be a reliable narrator? Besides Katie Britt, I mean.
