When the reporter went to ask a follow-up question, Hegseth replied, “See this is a point—” he stopped himself and changed gears. “This is how difficult it is to actually manage [the media].”And x-ray vision. But tell us more about how difficult it is to manage the media. Because clearly that’s a government function you’re not good at.
Hegseth went on to say, “You just watched a video of what this weapon is capable of. That's where we find our confidence and the skill of men and women and the capability of the systems.” He added, “Anyone with two eyes, two ears, and a brain could see the damage that's been done."
