Again, simply change “Biden” to “Trump.” And tell me there’s any difference: from Miller telling Trump in the Oval Office that the Supreme Court ruled for him instead of against him in the Abrego Garcia case (when Garcia was still in El Salvador), to Trump repeatedly insisting:
... that farmers need reliable workers and that ICE would not raid agricultural sites. He suggested the administration was developing a program allowing farmers to effectively sponsor undocumented laborers—only to have multiple senior officials publicly contradict or appear to override his plan, as recently as just hours ago.To today, when Trump doesn’t know who cancelled the weapons shipments to Ukraine. And doesn’t seem to much care that he doesn’t know.
Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins, also on Tuesday, told reporters there will be “no amnesty” for undocumented immigrants working on farms, and, “mass deportations continue.”
But Biden’s presidency is dead (metaphorically). Trump’s presidency is still “alive.” It’s unseemly to opine on a living Presidency. I guess. 🤷🏻♂️
Trump’s presidency is so insular he believes the racist trash spouted by Miller and the insane economic theories of Navarro, and insists all his Cabinet members praise him slavishly and lavishly, down to Noem making TV commercials to do so. He insists China has no electricity generated by wind, and whales are beaching in New England because of windmills. And no one contradicts him.
But Biden had a “problem.”
Joe Biden wasn’t capable of holding forth about gold leaf moulding so thereGeorge Conway has a (sardonic) point, there.
I’ll retire to Bedlam.
