Watters: In order to have masculine politics and you need to live your life as a man. You need to live a life of action, and you have to live it outdoors. The first step is having your own compound. Jessica: I love the idea of the "outdoor life" and Donald Trump who has a golden toilet. That is what I associate with the outdoor life.

Watters: A round of golf outdoors is nice. You should try it some time.
Jessica: Well, I have to work more than Donald Trump so I can’t pic.twitter.com/KuFmV48dvW
Phang: These Texas state representatives, when they broke quorum, were doing their jobs as representatives. They were representing their constituents’ best interests. In fact, they were doing a better job than the Republicans. Why? Because the Republicans in Texas are only doing what Donald Trump tells them to do. They didn’t put their big-boy panties on and decide what’s best for their people. They’re just doing whatever Donald Trump tells them to do — no better than lackeys…A pair of rich oil men from West Texas decided to screw over the public schools there (the only game in town) and in Texas by pushing Abbott to push vouchers, which finally got over the line, 25 years after it failed spectacularly before. Public schools will lose money (they already have. Two years ago Abbott couldn’t get his vouchers, and school finance didn’t pass. He refused to call a special session to fix it, until he got his vouchers. Now school finance is going to vouchers.) The Texas GOP have been lackeys for decades. Our local GOP representatives told local school district representatives to pound sand in a private meeting two years ago over school finance. They don’t represent their constituents. This is nothing new.
Really never get tired of hearing that said.Q: What do you make of people like Greg Abbott, who has said that California is the problem, not Texas…

Newsom: Shockingly delusional. Look in the mirror, sir. You’re the one who initiated this. You coward. You couldn’t stand up to Donald Trump. pic.twitter.com/mWpLuGwYed
Newsom: I mean, even poor Kid Rock — these guys, they’ve gotten a little precious, haven’t they? The folks at Fox are like, “Oh, this is so unbecoming of a governor. Oh, oh.”

And meanwhile, they sit there reading his tweets every single day. Are they really that out of touch? It’s jaw-dropping how precious and concerned the New York Post has suddenly gotten. How the Wall Street Journal board is like, “Oh no, we can’t have this.”They’re entertaining me. πΈ
I mean, what I hope is that we’re exposing it all. I hope we’re entertaining some people.
A key part of what Newsom is doing and the potential political impact going forward is the first four words of Conway’s comment below (and that many are doing exactly what she says): https://t.co/qMgDFV9L94

American journalism under the freest press in history turns out to be remarkably like the North Korean journalism. I don't thin even Putin or the Iranian regime has such a sycophantic journalistic presence as we've got here.
