I thought maybe she just wanted to avoid the anniversary of the insurrection. If memory serves she was one of the congresscritters who were leading a lot of tours/reconnaissance missions through the Capitol prior to Jan 6
I think Greene has hopes of taking over the "movement" or maybe leading one of her own. Wouldn't hazard a guess toward the odds of success right now. The last ten years have taught me I know even less about this country than I had thought. I would like to think that it's too late for her to escape being dragged down with Trump, and we have a ways to go before *that* happens.
Yup. I don’t have a crystal ball, either. But I don’t think MAGA survives Trump (any more than Ross Perot’s third party survived Perot). And I don’t think 2024 proved MAGA was that popular. Most people voted for their pocketbooks, not Miller’s xenophobia.

ReplyDeleteBut that’s as far as I’ve gotten.
