*How many posters on BlueSky or Twitter even know the word was created by Robert Heinlein for Stranger In A Strange Land, where it’s a Martian word that means whatever you want it to; and so means nothing. Heinlein knew what he was doing. I’m quite sure Elmo didn’t.

Media is starting to report the Grok child porn story but way too many are centering the bot's "apologies" and "admissions" without explaining that these are being generated in response to user requests and are not in anyway authentic or meaningful.

There’s nothing authentic or meaningful about AI. The media’s been missing that point all along. In the end, it’s not the people who are sheeple; it’s the journalists.

It’s crazy how so many in media stayed away from talking about Trump’s obvious mental and physical decline explicitly when some of us have been beating the drum about it for a few years relentlessly, but after a legacy outlet (WSJ) does a story now it’s suddenly ok to go there.
