Now that Harley-Davidson is moving part of its operation out of the U.S., my Administration is working with other Motor Cycle companies who want to move into the U.S. Harley customers are not happy with their move - sales are down 7% in 2017. The U.S. is where the Action is!— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) July 3, 2018
So Harley-Davidson was punished in 2017 for actions it took in 2018? Was their customer base followers of Nostrodamus, or did they all have access to the same time machine?
And why is the President of the United States bragging about protecting U.S. trade by working with foreign motorcycle companies to replace sales Harley-Davidson is losing because of Trump's tariffs? I mean, I've read some of the Twitter feed responses to this, and Trump's supporters are clearly idiots.
But Trump is clearly the Idiot-in-Chief.
It's instructive how much the truth relies on the volition of those who have to make the effort to distinguish, or, more honestly, value it over even an obvious lie that can be mathematically refuted using the idea of numbers being bigger or smaller, things coming before or after.
ReplyDeleteI am increasingly skeptical and pessimistic about the consequences of having most people educated by TV, movies, hate-talk radio and social media.
