Thick as a Brick

Those sales are made through contracts. Not through government policies, trade deals, or Presidential tweets. Contracts between sellers and buyers, the same way manufacturers obtain raw materials, stores get wares, all business is conducted. Almost all of those contracts were voided by tariffs and trade wars. There is no way they have been reinstated already, or renegotiated. There isn't even an agreement between the U.S. and China to base new contracts on.

This tweet is from a man who has no more clue how commodities are bought and sold than he does a moral sense. He might as well say the moon is made of green cheese and we're going to put men on the moon to mine it.
