Jean Cauvin And Jonathan Edwards...

...would like a word. Because there are people who think this gibberish: not only reflects reality, or describes it, but creates it. Including the “mulligan” that the virus doesn’t count because Trump didn’t know how to handle it. Not his fault, though. Only things that go right are due to him. Something else his supporters want to be true about themselves.

This is what they want to believe:  that their bluntness, their "honesty," their "directness," is not childish and selfish, but bold and decisive.  In truth, it's just selfish and boorish.  That is now the hallmark of the  “regular guy.” A spoiled brat, not a responsible adult.

But it isn't true for the rest of us.

  2. It's pretty much a giveaway, when somebody starts praising someone for not "faking things," it means that's all they do, but they get away with it.
