This shakes loose memories of 1973. Nixon had won literally every state except Massachusetts in ‘72, but political parties were different beasts in those days. The crazies of the GOP were still in the future. It started with pebbles, not the full avalanche. Ever heard of Jacobs? Me neither. But Trump is losing support and more polls indicate GOP voters are tired of him (inevitably). And the H6 Committee is doing its job, as the Watergate Committee did 50 years ago.
And it’s still the GOP in the cross-hairs. It always is.

The media, especially the cabloids helped the Republicans every way they could and they will again.
