Sometimes gerrymandering is good.Much to the dismay of MAGA, but to the pleasure of Democracy, Texas 30 has overwhelmingly re-elected me to a second term ☺️!

I’m currently at 93% after early voting & I don’t currently have a General OPPONENT!
Now, let’s take the HOUSE BACK! πͺπΎ
Any votes that haven’t come in by now really shouldn’t be counted.STOP THE COUNT! pic.twitter.com/z1Y0mBTm0l

Robinson is also a Holocaust denier, an election denier, wants to ban all abortions in North Carolina, and mocked victims of school shootings. https://t.co/KavOHCAwcV

Making Greg Abbott look almost "not bad." Well, the Holocaust denial and school shootings mockery. Even Ken Paxton isn’t that foul. Yet.Marc Robinson, a Holocaust denier and election denier who mocked school shooting victims, wants to ban abortion, and hates LGBTQ people, has won the North Carolina Republican primary for Governor.

To be fair, I’ve heard the same line of argument made by “respected” pundits for as far back as I can remember. Political races are really fairly dull TeeVee, and they have to work hard to keep your attention.Baier: We heard from Michelle Obama's staff today that she is not running for president.

Watters: If you read between the lines, she's not saying she wouldn't agree to be drafted at the convention. She is saying she is not running for president. So there is a chance. pic.twitter.com/Tr4SQ3wwMY
I think exit polls, especially in this day and age, are a particularly useless form of entrail divination, but: schadenfreude, am I right?Jessica: You look at the exits for GOP voters tonight who won't guarantee their vote for the nominee. North Carolina, 35%, Virginia 36%, California 33%. That has been consistent, 30-50% of people who don't want Trump but identify as Republican or are voting in that primary pic.twitter.com/0e9GMBDFdn

But somebody on Washington Week told me Trump is popular! And all those rallies! You know, the ones the same people travel the country to attend!“How about whether or not they think Donald Trump is mentally fit to serve effectively among Haley voters? In battleground North Carolina, Two-thirds of them say trump is not mentally fit to serve… 81% say they are not an automatic vote for the nominee” pic.twitter.com/WK2eEcmVdR

Well, she’s going to get a nasty note telling her she’s out of the party. Besides, Trump doesn’t need votes!Voter: Donald Trump should not be leading the Republican Party. Someone who is paying off porn stars while his wife is at home pregnant, someone who has been found guilty of sexual assault should not be leading the country. pic.twitter.com/UA5Vp0kdvU

Those races will be interesting, because the Court of Criminal Appeals simply followed the plain language of the Texas Constitution. But Ken Paxton didn’t like that. So….Texas is a lovely place. Even some Texas Republicans are okay. But the Texas GOP, like the people who go to conventions & write the platform is just a thoroughly leperous blood clot of civic disease. They literally support holding a treason referendum. Its in the party platform! https://t.co/p548yYPK2o
