Jeh Johnson was on MTP at the same time, and pointed out that simply wasn’t what USAG’s do. Blanche was not acting as a government attorney, he was acting as Trump’s defense attorney.

So why was Todd Blanche on MTP? Contrast with the reported opening statement of Jack Smith before Gym Jordan’s House Committee, presented by a consummate professional concerned only with following the law and the facts without fear or favor. And refusing to even acknowledge reporters (and assholes harassing him) as he walked through the halls of Congress.
