Warner: The president continues said he was shocked that the Iranians had moved to take over the strait of hormuz.

Gabbard: I'm not aware of those remarks

Warner: What about the comments the president made that he was surprised that Iran struck the adjacent gulf states.

Gabbard: I'm not aware of those remarks

Warner: Did you did you brief the president that if he starts a war of choice, that the likely result would be that Iran would strike adjacent gulf nations and close the strait of hormuz.

Gabbard: I have not and won't divulge internal conversations

  1. Kieth Edwards, talking about the speculations that Gabbard would quit pointed out she's never, ever going to have as high a position anywhere and that she'll grasp onto it with all her might. It's possible that Trump might see her as the same kind of PR liability that he eventually saw Noem as being and throw her off the sled. Or he might see doing that as a PR opportunity, to blame her for some phase of his multi-phase two-stepping. I think the only genius Trump has its in conning the wealthy and the corporate media.
    The 25 Amendment, like so much in the Constitution, doesn't seem to take into account that they put the decision to dump a Trump in the hands most interested in keeping one there. A parliarmentary system, on the other hands, puts getting rid of a total diaster in the hands at most risk at keeping an with the most to gain in getting rid of a PM.
