Dems once again asked the WH today for a full breakdown of what Trump wants that $5 billion for, a Dem official familiar with the meeting emails. No "full justification" for the request was offered, the official says.

(no, Trump doesn't really want to build the wall; he just wants to say he's going to, and "winning" this fight is all that matters to him.  Whether Congress ever actually allows the money to be spent is irrelevant; whether it is ever actually spent is irrelevant.  Nothing matters except the talking point victory. This is government by tub thumping, nothing more.)
