I'll take what Bill Gates has to say about the safety of nuclear power seriously when Microsoft comes up with a version of Windows that works well. Last year they did an update that not only made my computer and that of my brother, my brother-in-law, etc. up all on the same night, it made it necessary for some of us to wipe our hard discs and painstakingly reassemble the operating system. Fukushima was more significant an example of putting your faith in technology.
