It's not a lie if you believe it





One could reasonably wonder how Trump managed to acquire and read this manuscript in one day, while he still had 2+ hours available to speak at CPAC, and is not known to be an avid reader.  Turns out we don't have to wonder.
This is Trump's response to Cohen's testimony.  This is his defense: non-statements about a book that doesn't exist. There are more words in these tweets than in Cohen's proposed book. And still they add up to nothing, because they aren't even empty threats, just desperate attempts at distraction.

No wonder he spent two hours in public howling.
