Kinda why everybody seems disappointed

Joe also said, in his closing remarks (IIRC) that we could have 8 more years of Trump, right after he said we've had four more years of Trump.  It was late, he was tired.  In context it was fairly clear he meant four more years of Trump would be 8 years of Trump in total, but he started off with "four more years of Trump" (yes, if Trump wins re-election) and then warned against 8 more years of Trump, which is:  ?

Is Joe so old he can't be President?  I dunno, but it's not reassuring.  Not that anyone else covered themselves in glory last night, or the night before.  And all the reviews (starting with CNN immediately after the debate ended) seem to be that no one played Russell Crowe and slew the emperor in the arena, or left nothing but a pile of dead bodies in the sand (since this isn't the end of the movie yet, I guess).  Oh, and they complained too much about Obamacare (which is kinda working, despite attempts by the Court and the Congress to gut it like a fish), and not enough about Trump, because according to the punditocracy, the ONLY ISSUE is decrying Donald Trump.

Something I have yet to hear from any interviews of people actually paying attention to these debates.  People who aren't pundits or apparently active on Twitter, anyway.

Helluva way to run a railroad.....
