Kaitlan Collins points out on CNN the only reason anyone knows Hope Hicks has COVID is bc reporters broke the news. The WH did not release the information. The WH withheld this information. And exposed people.

Based on all available information, we should assume that POTUS & Ms. Hicks were infected at roughly the same time. His symptoms followed hers by too short an interval to strongly support the notion that she infected him. Who infected them and WHEN?https://t.co/1rIXrNnlAz pic.twitter.com/Bo0bPPigr0

Scoop: GOP donors are panicking after being around President Trump during a fundraiser at his golf course in Bedminster. 30 to 50 donors were close to six feet of the president at the event, most of the interaction was outside.https://t.co/mhC9cWPNsZ

(Not really a response; I just think that one's hilarious!)After LBJ showed them his gallbladder scar (1965), some reporters said they were glad he hadn’t had hemorrhoids.

Yeah, about that:Important to be cautious about discussing people's health but neither POTUS nor his top aides are private citizens and it is important for elected officials and their staff to be transparent on matters like this.

"Hope is the thing with feathers." Anybody here got any feathers?NEW: Insiders say White House COVID testing protocols are a total mess. “They basically picked names out of a hat [to get tested],” one official says. “I’m actually surprised that it took this long” for Trump to contract the virus, says another. https://t.co/5sa2pHEm7u

I have been trying hard not to have unworthy thoughts over this and the best I can do is that if anyone has to get it, a bunch of Trump supporting billionaire-millionaires at a Bedminster golf club are high on my list of those who should get it. If they'd just keep it to themselves I could live with this level of irresponsibility being legal. All of those who this late into it are holding such events should be in prison where they would also be in a high-risk situation.
ReplyDeleteI will be disappointed if the early news that the Disney princess wasn't the Typhoid Mary of this turns out to be wrong. Unless it's someone even more eminently suited to that role.
I said I was trying not to have unworthy thoughts, I didn't claim that was succeeding.
