President Donald Trump railed against California Governor Gavin Newsom and Los Angeles Karen Bass on Truth Social Monday afternoon, saying they should be thanking him after he brought in the National Guard to quell protests over the weekend.

“We made a great decision in sending the National Guard to deal with the violent, instigated riots in California. If we had not done so, Los Angeles would have been completely obliterated,” Trump said.

They burned one car. And then the NG showed, and the damage started increasing. A child can do the causal analysis.

“The very incompetent ‘Governor,’ Gavin Newscum, and ‘Mayor,’ Karen Bass, should be saying, ‘THANK YOU, PRESIDENT TRUMP, YOU ARE SO WONDERFUL. WE WOULD BE NOTHING WITHOUT YOU, SIR,” the President raged.

Why doesn’t everyone love the President the way the President loves the President?

Trump’s lengthy post went on to say, “Instead, they choose to lie to the People of California and America by saying that we weren’t needed, and that these are ‘peaceful protests.’ Just one look at the pictures and videos of the Violence and Destruction tells you all you have to know.”

All of which happened since the Guard got there.

BTW, the only thing the Guard (and the Marines) can do is protect federal buildings. Which, AFAIK, have not been damaged or attacked.

Still waiting for the Guard or the Marines to fire on people in the streets. That’s when the shit’s gonna hit the fan.
